An homage music video to a short lived punk rock band that changed the Vietnamese music scene for ever. A band of girls - except for the dummer, singing in Vietnamese, with their own style and tunes.

The concept of the video involved carefully choreographed traffic, super slow motion capture, night filming and all in one shot! Quite the challenge to pull that one in Vietnam!

British council commissioned me to capture the wonderful dynamic vibe of the local music scene, presenting exciting opportunities for international artists to showcase their talents, to connect with new audiences, and to have a taste of the inner workings of Vietnam. Enjoy following the journey of Rukhsana Merise and her band at the Monsoon Music Festival 2016, with British Council bringing artistic talents from the UK to perform in Vietnam since the early 1990s.

Japan Foundation commissioned me and my team to capture the exceptional "Go!Go!Japan!" concert at the National Exhibition Centre, Hanoi, Vietnam. The event featured Okamoto's, Electric Eel Shock, Molice (Japan), Ngu Cung, Rosewood (Vietnam).
